Matt Haynes is a Principal with Fehr & Peers and manages the firm’s San José office. He is an expert in sustainable transportation and mobility strategies and has an extensive background in integrated transportation and land use studies, emerging travel modes, and complete streets design. He is currently leading Fehr & Peers’ FP Think initiative, which focuses on developing a deeper understanding of the disruptive forces affecting transportation and how they influence future travel. Matt’s educational background includes master’s degrees in Transportation Engineering and in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley. He is a registered Professional Engineer in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
