Andrew Lee joined Bellevue Utilities in 2014 and is currently the Deputy Director, overseeing planning, engineering, construction, development services, regulatory compliance, and operations and maintenance of the drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities. Andrew has 19 years of experience in utilities, having worked for Seattle Public Utilities, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Brown and Caldwell, and Olivia Chen Consultants (now AECOM).
Andrew, who is a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, is an active member of the city of Bellevue’s Smart City Team, with a particular focus on smart water technologies. He currently serves as the North American utility representative on the Smart Water Advisory Network (SWAN) Utility Advisory Group. He has a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MS degree in Environmental Engineering and Sciences, both from Stanford University. Andrew is a member of the Project Management Institute, and has been a past member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
